I have to trouble you regarding a matter concerning Income Tax which has been made an alteration in the Crown колоnies. On the two former occasions which I have visited England on leave, Income Tax has been charged on my salary whilst abroad. I request you to have the matter regarding the charge of Income Tax on my salary whilst on leave clarified.

On the two former occasions which I have visited England on leave, Income Tax has been charged from the date of my arrival in England, namely 5th June respectively. On this occasion, however, the tax has been charged from the 1st of April, though my salary did not arrive in England until later.
